Crashing a supercar cannot be a good feeling but having footage of that crash uploaded to Facebook? Yeah, that’s got to suck.

A Carscoops recently reached out to us after that exact scenario happened in Hong Kong when a Ferrari 488 Spider was heavily damaged after overshooting a corner.

Dashcam footage of a truck near the scene shows the bright blue Ferrari speeding along the opposite side of the road in an attempt to overtake two vehicles.

However, the 488 driver failed to navigate a right-hand bend and slammed into a handful of street signs after mounting the curb.

Images from the scene show that the front bumper and hood of the Italian supercar took the brunt of the impact and in all likelihood, it’ll be an easy fix for a local Ferrari service center.

Nevertheless, the owner will have to live knowing there’s footage out there capturing the crash in full.
