Josh Byrnes, the Carscoop reader and independent designer that accurately predicted the shape of the new 2013 Cadillac ATS before its unveiling at this year’s Detroit Motor Show, is back with another speculative rendering.
For his next project, Josh picked out the 2014 Ford Transit Connect van based on a series of allegedly official patent fillings that were leaked on the internet earlier this month (you can see those images over at Autoblog).
If the patent images are real, then Josh’s work is pretty accurate with the next generation of Ford’s compact model in both professional panel van and people carrier trims sporting a more modern look with a face that brings it in line with the company’s recent passenger vehicles like the 2013 Fusion sedan.
The new Transit Connect is expected to be introduced sometime next year as a 2014 model.
