The latest generation of the Grandeur has only been on the market since early 2011 in South Korea, and even less in the United States where it launched as the all-new 2012 Azera in April this year, yet Hyundai has released a subtle refresh for its mid-size sedan in its home country.

For the 2013 model year, the Grandeur gets a new waterfall-like front grille along with a fresh selection of colors and alloy wheel designs on the outside.

In the cabin, the revisions include some minor changes to the trimmings and the buttons of the updated infotainment system on the center console, the color screen in the instrument cluster and added equipment features such as the rear-view camera mode.

The Grandeur will continue to be offered in Korea with an entry-level 2.4-liter four-cylinder Theta II GDI with 201-horsepower and a 3.0-liter V6 Lambda II GDI rated for 270-horsepower.

There’s no word whether any of these updates will be applied to the North American Azera.
