Vilner’s “Il Mostro” project has been completed and we can now see the results of the work that went into restoring the Alfa Romeo RZ to its former glory.

The 1990s roadster model (the design house doesn’t give a precise year, but we do know that the RZ was offered from 1992 to 1994), which was produced by Zagato for Alfa Romeo, is owned by an unnamed German client who sent the car to Vilner at its facility in Bulgaria.

As we saw in the first batch of photos, the RZ was stripped down to a bare shell and re-built from the ground up with Vilner repainting the Alfa’s composite body panels in the original red shade, re-upholstering the leather interior and the carpet, placing a new fabric top, and taking care of any mechanical and electrical issues.

You can check out the RZ in detail in the gallery that follows the break.
