At the same time Audi is showing off the facelifted iteration of the A8 and S8 models at the Frankfurt Messe, German tuning outfit MTM is launching a new treat for owners of the current S8 performance variant.

The highlight of MTM’s tuning project is a €4,925 (US$6,600) power kit that lifts the output of the S8’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol from 512hp (520PS) and 650 Nm (479.42 lb-ft) to “more than 650hp” at 5,950 rpm and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) from 1,700 rpm to 5,500 rpm, respectively.

MTM states that its version of the S8 hits 100km/h (62mph) in 4.0 seconds, or 0.2 seconds faster than the stock model, while also returning a higher top speed of 293km/h (182 mph).

The tune also includes new 21-inch multi-spoke wheels shod in tires 305/30 ZR21 (€5,800), an F-Cantronic air suspension module (€1,750), a more powerful braking system (€6,700), and a sports exhaust with bespoke quad tailpipes (€4,500).

If you’re interested, MTM is offering the display model in the pictures for €155,000 (US$207,000) in Germany.
