If the Germans know how to make one particular style of vehicle, that would have to be a sedan or wagon of the very imposing kind. Yes, their repertoire is varied, but they’re best known for making the kind of cars you want to get out of the way of, when you see them quickly approaching the mirror.

This 1994 Mercedes-Benz E500 that has been tuned by Brabus is the definition of the above and is a very desirable car. Its owner knows this and is wants $100,000 to give it up on Hemmings.

The car is one of six ever made/modified by the famed tuner, and it’s a fully-specced car that runs a 6.0-liter V8 engine, with four valves per cylinder that puts out 500 hp.

Mercedes’ W124 model was a square and rather sober looking car, but finished in black and fitted with special 17-inch three-piece rims, it definitely looks the part exactly twenty years after it was made; it could easily be called a timeless shape…
