We know some of you have been waiting for it and now, finally, Hot Wheels has turned Darth Vader’s infamous gloss black helmet into a car for fans of the Star Wars movies visiting this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) from July 24 to 27.

The first collaboration for Hot Wheels and the sci-fi franchise comes packaged in a neat box in which the small toy car is enclosed in a plastic Sith light saber.

Hot Wheels’ Star Wars die-cast vehicle will be offered for sale at SDCC at a cost of $40 a piece – and obviously, for a much steeper price on eBay later on…

No need to worry, though, as Hot Wheels’ Star Wars line of toys will be released sometime this fall.
