As a Global Partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jeep has presented an exclusive limited edition Grand Cherokee and two Renegade show cars.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee “Montreux Jazz Festival Limited Edition” will be built in a limited run of 49 units (one for each year of the Festival) and will be available exclusively in Switzerland from 88,300 Swiss francs ($93,000).

All models feature a Granite Crystal body color and Dark Brown natural leather interior, as well as the Montreux Jazz Festival logo on the B-pillar. Satin-finish accents, 20-inch alloy rims and double glass panoramic roof complete the exterior upgrades.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Montreux Edition is equipped with the 3.0-liter Multijet II 250PS (247hp) engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Standard equipment includes the Blue Ray DVD multimedia system, which consists of two screens for the rear passengers (each with HDMI and AUX port and wireless headphones), as well as a sophisticated Harman Kardon sound system with 825 watt amplifier, multichannel audio surround, 19 speakers and Active Noise Cancellation technology.

Alongside the limited edition Grand Cherokee, Jeep has also unveiled two Renegade show cars customized by Garage Italia Customs. The vehicles feature Cherry Black Burst and Classic Black Burst paintworks inspired by the most famous colors of guitar bodies.

A special wood effect airbrushed by hand makes the look even more realistic, while the electric guitar strings are depicted across the bonnet and the boot. The Jeep Renegade show cars also feature unique details inside, including black denim roof lining, seat sides and door panels, as well as Foglizzo colored leather for the seat inserts, the central tunnel, the gear boot and the armrest.
