The Infiniti QX70 SUV will receive an Ultimate special edition version at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Infiniti says that the Ultimate special edition makes it the most desirable QX70 yet, thanks to styling updates and a comprehensive standard equipment.

Design changes are subtle and include a new front splitter, rear diffuser with integrated fog light and new dark chrome trim front and rear. The QX70 Ultimate rides on new 21-inch anthracite alloy wheels that further distinguish it, while new daytime running lights make it more visible on the road.

For the interior, Infiniti gave the Ultimate version shiny black lacquer finishes, purple stitching and soft leather, besides the usual amenities of the standard QX70.

The QX70 Ultimate is offered in Europe with either a 3.7-liter V6 petrol engine or a 3.0-liter V6 diesel. Both are mated to a 7-speed adaptive shift automatic transmission with gearshift paddles on the steering wheel.

Sales of the QX70 Ultimate will begin in Western Europe and Russia after the model’s debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In the UK, prices start from £52,430 OTR for the petrol version and from £52,280 OTR for the diesel version. In Germany, the QX70 Ultimate starts at €64,500 for the petrol model and €64,250 for the diesel.
