Mercedes released the UK range specifications and pricing for the new C-Class Coupe ahead of the first customer deliveries, scheduled in December.

The two-door version of the C-Class will be available with four engine options, three gearboxes and two trim levels to choose from. Prices start at £30,995 for the C200 manual model and stretch all the way up to £66,910 for the C63 S AMG model.

The entry level C200 uses a 184hp 2.0-litre petrol engine mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Next up is the C300, featuring a 242hp 2.0-litre petrol engine offered only with the seven-speed 7G-Tronic auto.

If you need more power with your C-Class Coupe, then you are left with the option of the mighty C63 and C63 S AMG versions, which use the same twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 unit also used in the four-door C63 AMG. The ‘base’ C63 produces 476hp and 650Nm (479lb ft) while the S derivative pumps out 510hp and 700Nm (516lb ft), allowing them to accelerate from zero to 62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.0 and 3.9 seconds respectively.

As for the diesel versions, these include the 170hp C220d with a six-speed manual or the company’s 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox and the 204hp C250d which is available only with the 9G-Tronic nine-speed auto.

Customers will get to choose between two trim levels, Sport and AMG Line. LED headlights and taillights, parking sensors, rear-view camera, heated sports seats, a 7-inch infotainment system with Garmin navigation and an automatic braking system are all part of the standard kit.

Sport models come with gloss black interior trim with aluminium inserts on the door cards, 17-inch alloys and a ‘diamond’ front grille with black pins. The AMG Line models feature black ash wood trim, a flat-bottom AMG steering wheel, brushed steel sport pedals, black roof lining, a sportier body kit, 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, chrome pins on the front grille and a 15mm lowered suspension.
