The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is back, this time with new photos that reveal what is believed to be the entry-level or at least, a lesser equipped version of the vehicle.
Unlike the official images released by the 3-pointed star a few days ago, in which the digital instrument cluster was visible, these pictures show the car with analog dials, separated by a 7-inch color display cluster.
Changes don’t stop here because the 12.3-inch central screen is gone as well and replaced by an 8.4-inch display (with Garmin navigation), just like the one seen on prototypes earlier this year, housed by a glossy piano finish.
The rest of the features have been maintained and we can still see the ambient lighting, the analog clock, dual-zone climate control features, push-button start, multi-function steering wheel and others.
Full details should be announced when Mercedes-Benz will officially pull the wraps off the new-gen executive model in early January, during the 2016 Detroit Motor Show. The new E-Class sedan will be followed up by an Estate and a coupe too, while a convertible should join the lineup later on.
