With the stock all-wheel drive Huracan proving to be such a popular choice among tuning companies, it was only fair that the slightly lighter and slower LP 580-2 got some attention as well.

In this particular case, said attention is coming courtesy of 1016 Industries, also known for customizing the regular LP 610-4 Huracan by installing a few carbon fiber bits and modifying its ECU in order to make it quicker.

We’re not sure if an ECU tune went into this RWD Huracan as well, but it does have a subtle carbon fiber body kit, made up of a front spoiler lip, side skirts and a fixed rear wing that could provide up to 640 lbs (290 kg) of downforce if it’s the same as the one on their previous LP-610 build.

When stock, the rear-wheel driven Huracan LP 580-2 puts down 580 PS and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, resulting in a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).

Like we said, it’s not quite as quick as the regular Huracan, but if you prefer your Italian exotics to be more “tail-happy”, the LP 580-2 makes a lot of sense.
