SsangYong Tivoli And Tivoli XLV Launched With 4×4 Winter Upgrade In UK

SsangYong has extended the Tivoli and Tivoli XLV offerings in the United Kingdom with a new winter package.

Available for the 1.6-liter turbodiesel version on EX and ELX trim, the 4×4 winter upgrade can be ordered for vehicles registered before January 31, 2017, and starts from £16,250 ($20,641), which represents a £1,250 customer saving.

For the Tivoli EX, the offer includes cruise control, smart steering with Normal, Comfort, and Sport modes, grey or beige leather upholstery, RDS/Bluetooth radio, 7-inch touchscreen smart audio system, rearview camera, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and seven airbags, in addition to the luggage load cover, front fog lights and 18-inch Spiral alloy wheels.

The ELX benefits from TomTom navigation system with a 7-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, smart instrument cluster, push-button start, privacy glass, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, Diamond-cut alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and optional styling pack and red leather pack with My Tivoli.

Under normal driving conditions, the Tivoli 4×4, which benefits from an all-wheel drive torque on demand system, has its output delivered to the front wheels for improved fuel efficiency, but on icy or slippery roads, power is distributed to both axles as needed.

The tech provides a safe departure when driving away from a standstill on a steep slope, and a lock mode equally distributes the power between the front and rear wheels, at speeds up to 25 mph (40 km/h). Additionally, the Tivoli 4×4 is also equipped with Hill Start Assist and active roll-over protection.
