Momo announced the launch of a new alloy wheel inspired by the company’s first lightweight designs that were featured in motorsports throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Featuring the classic flat six-spoke face of the original Momo competition wheel, the new Heritage 6 has been brought up to date to accommodate modern brakes and is made using dual-way flow forming technology for less weight and better rigidity.

Thanks to dual-way forming, the Heritage 6 has similar strength and impact ratings with a forged wheel and is 15 percent lighter than a traditional alloy wheel.

The new Heritage 6 will be available in 17- and 18-inch diameters and with widths ranging from 8 to 12 inches. Momo will also offer their new wheel in custom offsets and bolt patterns ranging between 5×100 and 5×130.

Customers will also get to choose between different finishes, including matte or gloss black, matte or gloss gunmetal, matte bronze, matte race gold, gloss white, Momo red and heavy metallic silver.

“The Heritage 6 revives an important aspect of our competition history, bringing it to the modern enthusiast”, said Henrique Cisneros, Chairman of Momo Automotive Group. “It also blends cutting edge engineering and manufacturing with the traditions of our storied brand.”
