Houston’s slab scene is one of the sub-cultures of the country’s diverse automotive world and this Infiniti Q60 is a particularly extreme example of what is popular in the Texan city.

This image was recently shared to Reddit and shows the white Q60 parked in a disabled spot somewhere in Houston. As with any car that is considered part of the slab scene, it has been fitted with wire rims that protrude out roughly a foot from the arches of the sleek two-door coupe.

Obviously, there are some people in Houston that like the look of these wheels, hence why the slab scene exists. However, it would be remiss of us not to point out at least a couple of drawbacks of wheels like this.

For starters, these wheels increase the unsprung weight of the car and not only that, but they add weight in the worst place possible: away from the extremities of the car.

The most important thing, though, is that they look (and obviously are) quite dangerous and anyone driving a car like this would have to be particularly careful not to hit other motorists. Drivers would also need to be on the look out for pedestrians at all times as hitting one with these wheels would definitely injure them.
