The long-awaited Valkyrie will be featured at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed alongside a handful of other rare and exclusive Aston Martin models.

The Valkyrie has been a long time coming and while customer deliveries haven’t started yet, the car will be driven up the famous hillclimb by Aston Martin Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll. In addition, Aston Martin chief executive Tobias Moers, executive vice president and chief creative officer Marek Reichman, and three-time Le Mans winner Darren Turner will also make various hillclimb appearances throughout the weekend.

Aston Martin will also bring the Vantage F1 Edition onto the hillclimb alongside a rare V12 Speedster finished in the new DBR1 Designer Specification. Other models including the DB11 and DBS Volante will also be displayed at the Supercar Paddock.

During the course of the weekend, a special convoy of Aston Martin models will drive up the hillclimb on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to celebrate the brand’s return to Formula 1 ahead of the British Grand Prix. This convoy will include the Valkyrie, the official Vantage F1 Safety Car, the DBX F1 medical car, the Vantage F1 Edition and iconic race cars including the DBR1 and LM7. The convoy on Saturday will also include the current Aston Martin Formula 1 car, the AMR21, which will also be driven by Lance Stroll.

Last week, Aston Martin unveiled the revised Valkyrie AMR Pro. While it won’t be featured at Goodwood, it promises performance well beyond that offered up by the road-going hypercar thanks to a plethora of new aerodynamic components.
