GM Advises Chevrolet Bolt Owners To Park 50 Feet Away From Other Vehicles

Probably not the news Bolt owners had hoped for but after a spate of fire-related incidents, General Motors has issued a safety recommendation to owners suggesting that their Bolt should be parked at least 50 feet away from other vehicles. The carmaker also advised Bolt owners to not charge their cars over 90 percent or let the range dip below 70 miles, as well as avoid parking outside. Despite issuing a recall, GM isn’t satisfied and has halted production while they try to figure things out.


Elektron Truva Is A 1,400 HP Electric Hypercar Which Will Allegedly Cost Less Than $700k

Elektron Motors is the latest EV start-up that promises to bring a range of electric supercars. While still in the early stages of development, the company has already announced the 2,300 hp Quasa while a second model, called the Truva, will follow,  featuring a mere 1,400 hp. The electric Truva is expected to retail for less than €600,000 ($706,150).


2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Spied Looking Like An Electric Four-Door Coupe For The Masses

We already know that the upcoming Ioniq 6 will be roughly the same size as the Sonata and serve as a replacement for the original Ioniq. And now, our spy photographers have captured a heavily camouflaged prototype undergoing testing in Germany. The sedan appears to have a sloping coupe-like roofline, but will likely maintain a decent amount of rear-seat headroom, with a larger glasshouse than what was featured on the Prophecy concept.


U.S. Car Thefts Spike By 11% In 2020 In Part Due To The Pandemic

A 10.9 percent increase in car thefts was reported from 2019 to 2020. The National Insurance Crime Bureau blames the economic downturn, law enforcement realignment, depleted social and schooling programs, and owner complacency. It’s a noteworthy rise, as nationwide theft stats had been on a downward trajectory between 2017 and 2019.


Singer Brings Mesmerizing $1.8-Million DLS 911 To The Nurburgring

The stunning Singer DLS has been spotted at the Nurburgring for a series of tests. According to our spies, the car was being used for engine testing, with Singer bringing multiple engines with them. It’s understood that the car pictured is a customer-owned example, and has previously been featured on Top Gear — so evidently it’s owned by a very understanding individual.


Has Lamborghini Restored The 1971 Countach LP500 Prototype?

An intriguing teaser video shared on social media might suggest that Lamborghini has restored the original Countach LP500 Prototype. This car was unveiled at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show and the interior pieces shown in this teaser match up with the prototype. Another possibility is that Lambo’s restoration service will be expanded. Either way, it’s an intriguing prospect in light of the new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, which has helped renew interest in the original.


Bugatti Partners With Gillette For Co-Branded Heated Razor

After selling to someone a $300,000 pool table, Bugatti is lending its name to another somewhat unusual project: razor blades. The “GilletteLabs Bugatti Special Edition Heated Razor” is finished in Agile Bleu, features premium-grade aluminum-zinc, anodized aluminum, and titanium. It’ll launch in select markets starting this month.

Microsoft Will Allow Users To Ditch Passwords

Microsft has announced that it will introduce a “passwordless account” option. You will be able to log in via an authentication app, which produces a unique numbered login code every few seconds. Facial reignitions, fingerprint, or a unique pin are also options, as are external keys.
