Jaguar Land Rover is joining the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee as the UK commemorates the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

During the forthcoming Platinum Jubilee Pageant on June 5, no less than 26 vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover will be featured. These will include two of Her Majesty’s Land Rover Defenders and a number of historically-important Jaguar E-Types. These will include a bespoke 1965 Series 1 E-Type Roadster that was recently restored and given a metallic blue paint scheme inspired by the Union Jack flag.

Various other vehicles will participate in the event, including a Jaguar XKR from James Bond’s Die Another Day as well as various Land Rovers from Skyfall and No Time To Die. The pageant will also include the first-ever Land Rover that was showcased at the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show, an F-Pace Electric Hybrid, and an I-Pace from the E-Trophy racing series.

“It is a true honor for our vehicles to play a part in this momentous occasion to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee,” Jaguar Land Rover chief of staff Chris Thorp said. “As the UK’s longest-reigning monarch, Head of the Commonwealth, patron of more than 600 charities as well as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, the Queen is a remarkable role model and we are delighted to celebrate with her today.”

Land Rover will also give the British Red Cross a new Defender 130 to support its operations throughout the UK. The SUV will be modified to best serve the British Red Cross before it goes into service.

“We are delighted to be receiving the Defender 130 and look forward to working with the team at Land Rover to modify this over the coming months,” head of Crisis Response at the British Red Cross, Chris Davies said. “As the longest version of this vehicle ever produced, we will be able to utilize the increased capacity to incorporate new and unique features that will better support our emergency response and ambulance support work. The vehicle’s off-road capabilities will give us the freedom to access remote areas and reach people affected by emergencies and disasters across the UK.”
