Stellantis Temporarily Cans Twitter Ads After Elon Musk Buyout
Stellantis has announced that it is temporarily halting all advertising campaigns on Twitter following Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform. Stellantis, whose portfolio includes Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Fiat, Peugeot, and Alfa Romeo, joins Volkswagen and GM in pulling advertising from the site. Musk has already admitted that Twitter’s revenue has suffered a massive decline since he took over on October 27.

Aehra SUV Unveiled As An Aggressive And Aerodynamic Ultra Premium EV
Milan-based EV startup Aehra has shown off their “SUV” — an ultra-premium electric vehicle that is a “peerless vision of effortlessly elegant futurism.” It features an interesting, almost sedan-like design for an SUV, as well as monocoque construction, forged carbon fiber technologies, and state-of-the-art sustainable materials. Not many specifications of the SUV were released, but it’ll have a range of at least 497 miles (800 km), with pricing between $160,000 and $180,000.

Tesla Mistakenly Installed Curved Export Mirrors On A Few Dozen Model S EVs And Tesla Recalls 40,000 Cars Over Power Steering Failure Created By Software Update
Tesla has issued two recalls this week. The first involved over 40,000 examples of the Model S and Model X, which had updated software that could reduce or entirely lose power steering assistance. A smaller run of 53 cars was hit with a bizarre issue, where some examples of US-spec Model S cars were fitted with exterior mirrors designed for export markets.
22-Year-Old VW Golf R Driver Caught Doing 174 MPH (280 km/h) In Australia
A 22-year-old Australian driver has been caught going 280 km/h (174 mph) on public roads. His car of choice was a blue Volkswagen Golf R. which was traveling — needless to say — quite a bit over the legal limit of 110 km/h (68 mph). New South Wales Police say that the 22-year-old’s driving privileges have been revoked for now. He was also issued a court attendance notice for his driving and is due to appear in court in December.

Facebook parent company Meta has announced that it is cutting 13 percent of the workforce. It is the firm’s first-ever mass lay-off in history, which will leave 11,000 without a job. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg blamed massive long-term expectations for growth based on the firm’s rise in revenue during the pandemic.
Students In El Paso Must Retake Test Thanks To UPS Truck
Three Hundred And Fifteen students that sat for SAT tests at El Paso High School will have to retake their test as their papers had flown off a UPS truck that was transporting them. UPS is still conducting an investigation but was quick to own up to its error. “We have apologized to the school and extend our apologies to the students,” UPS said in a statement to the NY Times.
