Own a Land Rover Defender and want a timepiece to match the iconic off-roader? Now you can, thanks to a collaboration between Bamford London and Land Rover.

The watch is known as the LR001 and features a 40mm titanium case with a Sellita SW200-1b automatic movement. It will be available for a cool £1,350 ($1,587) and capped at just 100 units worldwide.

Unlike some other car-themed watches that go out of their way to resemble the design of the vehicle that inspired them, the LR001 doesn’t really look much like the Defender, not that that is a bad thing. It comes encased in grey titanium with a toned grey cutaway dial. Hiding beneath this cutaway dial is an illuminated area with a subtle green finish that allows the watch to be used in low-light situations.

” I am proud and excited to reveal this collaboration inspired by one of the world’s most iconic vehicles, the Defender,” founder and chief executive of Bamford London, George Bamford said. “The grey dial on a fixed lug, grey titanium case is the first iteration of the LR001. I have a long-standing relationship with Land Rover and I am honored to work with the design team as we unveil our first watch.”

Shoppers will be able to choose between one of four available 18mm straps for the LR001, available in black, navy, light tan, and dark tan. The black, light tan, and dark tan options are made from corn-derived sustainable PU leather while the navy option is made of woven recycled nylon known as Cordoba. Both these materials are sustainable alternatives to traditional leather.

“Created with intrinsic longevity and encompassing Defender’s reductive character, the LR001 has a compelling design which is precisely executed though its refined and crafted form,” added Jaguar Land Rover chief creative officer Gerry McGovern.
