Black Friday has become a holiday in its own right as retailers heavily discount products in the hopes of enticing customers to spend big.

With that in mind, we’re asking our readers what are the best automotive accessories to scoop up on Black Friday? Options are virtually limitless, but we’ll list of few of our favorites and you can tell us yours in the comments below.

One of my favorite Black Friday purchases is the myQ Chamberlain smart garage door controller. It can be installed in a matter of minutes and is compatible with a number of garage door openers from Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Craftsman, and Genie.

Once installed, you can use your smartphone to open or close the garage door as well as check on its status. This has a number of benefits, although I’ve experienced the occasional connectivity issue here and there.

Another good thing to have, if you don’t already, is a good air compressor. Lowes has a six-gallon portable air compressor for $99, which is good enough for filling up tires as well as tackling small home improvement projects.

Speaking of garage accessories, Black Friday is also a good time to pick up a heavily discounted mechanics tool set. If you work on your car, they’re a necessity and effectively pay for themselves.

Another thing worth checking out is a jump starter box, which enables you to jump start a car by yourself. There are countless options on the market and some even come equipped with flashlights and USB ports for charging phones in a pinch.

Of course, their primary function is jump starting and they can be a lifesaver as winter is tough on batteries and you never know when you might find yourself stranded.

Regardless of what you’re in the market for, it always pays to shop around and get the best price as there are countless Black Friday sales. It’s also worth mentioning nothing in this article is sponsored or has an affiliate link.
