Debuting The Redesigned CarScoops V3 Website

By now you’ll have noticed our refreshed site, and V3 brings with it a new look, new logo, and improved performance. We consider it very much an evolution of the CarScoops of old, so you’ll still find the features you know and love. But, the retooling should make us faster, while the layout across devices offers a better experience too. As always, we want to know what you think while we make a few tweaks and iron out any kinks. The Hilux Revo BEV Concept is an intriguing new all-electric pickup from Toyota, showcased at an event celebrating the brand’s 60th anniversary in Thailand. While the concept is certainly based around the existing ICE Hilux, with a few visual tweaks, it’s hard to say just what else it features under the hood — although we can see a closed-off grille and a prominent charging port on the passenger-side front panel.

The interior of Lotus’ new sedan has been spotted testing in China. The first thing we can notice is that it appears the car will be sold exclusively as a four-seater, with a large ‘transmission’ tunnel similar to that found in the Electre. Up front, the interior has a prominent infotainment display, again just like the Eletre, while a subtle digital instrument cluster has also been neatly incorporated into the dashboard.

While not many details were announced, we know that the van will feature four doors, and a low-res teaser gives it a Mercedes Sprinter vibe. The second vehicle it will bring to the stage is its first hydrogen-powered semi, the Logimax 864 (LMH864). This semi will be designed for short- and long-haul applications, with multiple electric motors and eight 210-liter (55.4-gallon) hydrogen storage tanks.

We say new, but the Atlas is an improved version of the Saipa Quick, which in turn uses the underpinnings of the old 1986 Kia Pride. The Saipa Atlas will be launched in Iran sometime in 2023, gradually replacing the Quick in the production line of the local factory.
