Just five examples of the Pagani Huayra Codalunga are being produced but after seeing these images, you’ll probably wish that Pagani had opted to build a few more.

Pagani decided to build the Codalunga after two of its customers asked for a longtail version of the Huayra. The firm’s in-house Grandi Complicazioni coachbuilding division was responsible for the car’s design and this is the second of the five units being constructed.

On first impressions, you could be fooled into thinking that this Codalunga is painted in the same color that was used to launch the original Huayra in 2011. However, the entire exterior of the Italian supercar is actually clad in tinted carbon fiber. It also sits on a set of silver wheels and is rocking brake calipers with a rose gold paint finish, closely mimicking the color of the exterior carbon fiber.

This Is The Second Of Five Pagani Huayra Codalungas Being Built

Meanwhile, the rear if the Huayra Codalunga stands out thanks to the three naked gloss carbon fiber lines running across the decklid and engine cover.

Then there’s the interior. Pagani has always been known to produce some of the finest interiors on the market and it’s no different here. Most of the cabin, include large parts of the dashboard, transmission tunnel, door panels, steering wheel, and seats are trimmed in brown leather. Other accents found throughout are made from brushed aluminum, such as the central switches, while matte carbon fiber parts are also visible. Our favorite touch is the wood trim on the shift lever.

The Codalunga is some 14-inches (360 mm) longer than the standard Huayra and is powered by the car manufacturer’s familiar 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged AMG-sourced V12 with 840 hp and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque.
