As millions of Americans prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, we’re asking our readers which car they’re most thankful for.

It’s a pretty open-ended question, but we’re looking for models that were either introduced or launched in the past year. With that basic primer out of the way, let’s take a stroll down memory lane.

Starting with relatively recent debuts, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT is worth getting excited about. While the styling might be a little too busy for some folks, the model will arrive in the United States next year with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that has outputs of 469 hp (350 kW / 476 PS) and 577 hp (430 kW / 585 PS).

At the other end of the spectrum, 2023 has seen the introduction of a number of interesting electric vehicles. Key among them are the Lucid Gravity, Kia EV9, and Cadillac Escalade IQ.

The latter model trumps its ICE-powered counterpart with an amazing interior that’s worthy of a modern flagship. It sports a massive 55-inch curved display, an 11-inch front command center, a rear command center, and two 12.6-inch displays for second-row passengers.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg as the Escalade IQ sports high-quality materials and impressive attention to detail. It looks and feels special, which is exactly what a high-end model should do.

Speaking of SUVs, it’s impossible to ignore the redesigned Lexus GX and Toyota Land Cruiser. The models have a lot in common, but the GX is notable for sporting a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 with 349 hp (260 kW / 354 PS) and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. Buyers will also find a new Overtrail trim that is off-road focused and features 18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires.

Those are just some examples, but what models are you thankful for?
