• The 2027 Bronco RTR debuts a Hyper Lime cabin designed with the RTR team.
  • A topographical passenger-side graphic and RTR badge are unique to this trim.
  • Standard kit includes heated seats, dual-zone climate, and Ford Co-Pilot 360.

Revealed last January as a tougher, trail-focused take on the off-roader, the 2027 Bronco RTR was pitched as a more attainable alternative to the hardcore Raptor. Until now, Ford kept the cabin under wraps, but today’s reveal shows an interior that leans into the same vivid, high-contrast theme as the exterior.

Ford calls it the “most expressive interior” in the current Bronco lineup, and it’s not hard to see why. The cabin was developed alongside the RTR team, and it wears that collaboration…loudly.

Hyper Lime is the headline act here. It shows up on the dashboard inserts, grab handles, seatbelt webbing, and stitching throughout the cabin, cutting sharply against the black leather upholstery. The effect mirrors the exterior accents and wheels, tying the whole package together without subtlety.

There’s more than just color doing the heavy lifting. A bespoke topographical graphic stretches across the passenger-side dashboard, paired with a Hyper Lime Bronco badge. That same visual theme carries over to the center console with a dedicated Bronco RTR emblem. Up front, the RTR logo is embossed into the seats, while the infotainment system greets you with a custom startup animation, just in case you forget what you’re driving.

Designer Lindsay Ross, who led the project, explained: “While designing the Bronco RTR, we used Hyper Lime to communicate excitement and performance. From the exterior to the driver’s seat, we wanted that color and vibe to be seen and physically felt. When you reach for the seatbelt or adjust the A/C vent, you are reminded that we engineered this product to have fun and do cool stuff. And it’s always ready to rock.”

As expected for a range-topping-style trim, the RTR doesn’t skimp on equipment. Heated seats, dual-zone climate control, and Ford’s Co-Pilot 360 suite all come standard, covering both comfort and driver assistance basics.

Off-Road Hardware Upgrades

Underneath, the changes are more than cosmetic. The RTR gets a high-clearance suspension and rolls on 33-inch tires as standard, with the option to step up to FOX internal bypass dampers and 35-inch rubber for more serious off-road work. Power comes from the familiar 2.3-liter four-cylinder, making 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS), now paired with a Raptor-sourced cooling fan and an anti-lag system to sharpen response when you’re pushing it.

The 2027 Ford Bronco RTR will make its public debut at the New York Auto Show and at the annual Bronco Stamped event in Moab, Utah, starting today. More details are expected in the coming months ahead of its launch later this year. Pricing should land below the Badlands Sasquatch, likely somewhere in the $50,000 to $55,000 range.
