• Ford has announced a handful of mid-year updates for the 2026 Bronco.
  • The Wildtrak returns as an $11,945 package that includes a 330 hp V6.
  • Off-roader offers new hardtop roof colors and SecuriCode keyless entry.

2027 models are already arriving at dealerships, but that hasn’t stopped Ford from announcing a handful of updates to the 2026 Bronco. The most notable development is the return of the Wildtrak, but this time it’s a package instead of a trim.

Offered exclusively on the four-door Bronco Badlands, the $11,945 Wildtrak Package adds the Black Appearance Package as well as the Sasquatch Off-Road Package. The former typically costs $600 and includes a black grille with white “Bronco” lettering as well as black mirrors and door handles. The package also includes a Shadow Black hardtop.

The $6,345 Sasquatch Package needs no introduction, but it adds electronic locking differentials, a front stabilizer disconnect, high clearance fender flares, and a HOSS 3.0 suspension with FOX internal bypass dampers. They’re joined by a more advanced four-wheel drive system as well as 17-inch black wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires.

On top of that, the Wildtrak includes a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that typically costs $2,995. It produces up to 330 hp (246 kW / 335 PS) and 415 lb-ft (562 Nm) of torque, and is connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Besides the return of the Wildtrak, there are some other minor mid-year updates. This includes an Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat paint job, which originally debuted on the Mustang.

The Bronco Raptor and Outer Banks also offer several roof colors including Avalanche Gray, Marsh Gray, Ruby Red, Velocity Blue, Desert Sand, and the aforementioned Orange Fury. However, Ford seems to prevent customers from ordering garish combinations such as a Velocity Blue body and an Orange Fury roof.

While that’s slightly disappointing, the Blue Oval did bring back the popular SecuriCode keyless entry keypad. It’s a $195 option that appears limited to four-door models.
