With the all-new XF expected to arrive later this year, Jaguar announced changes for its current XF lineup in the UK, consisting of enhanced trim packages and the addition of a new derivative, the R-Sport Black.

Priced at £38,350 (saloon) and £40,850 (Sportbrake), the Jaguar XF R-Sport Black offers an additional £8,770 worth of value over standard R-Sport models for just a £2,100 increase to its on-the-road price.

Available exclusively with the 2.2-liter turbocharged 200PS (197hp) diesel engine, the new R-Sport Black features a comprehensive list of standard equipment including 20-inch Black Kalimnos alloy wheels, Black Pack, 770W Meridian Surround Sound system, full bond-grain leather upholstery and 18way Sports seats with memory function.

R-Sport Black models can be had with a choice of five no-cost paint colors: Kyanite Blue, Italian Racing Red, Glacier White, Ultimate Black and Stratus Grey. However, the Kyanite Blue option will be limited to just 100 units.

Besides the introduction of the R-Sport Black, Jaguar has also operated equipment changes across the XF family. All models in the XF saloon and Sportbrake range now come with Winter Comfort Pack and Parking Pack as standard, which means all models get heated seats and windscreen plus front parking sensors and a rear camera.

Additionally , higher specification Portfolio, Diesel S Portfolio, XFR and XFR-S variants now all get the Blind Spot Monitor as standard, while most models in the range gain upgraded alloy wheels.

SE, SE Business and Premium Luxury trim levels have been discontinued, as have the 3.0-liter V6 petrol and 240PS (237hp) 3.0-liter TDV6 diesel engines. As a result, the range now starts with the Luxury trim.
