While the whole world waits for Alfa Romeo to throw the new Giulia in the market, some of us still drool over the classifieds for some cool old-school Italian metal.

This 1966 Giulia Sprint GTV is painted in a rather unusual but tasty green shade which matches great with the brown interior. The owner says that the car needs paint without providing more info, with the pictures not revealing where the problem really is.

As a matching numbers car, this Giulia Sprint still wears its original engine, a 1.6-litre twin cam unit which reportedly pulls strong in all gears, benefiting from a recently rebuilt fuel system and an upgrade on electrics and suspension among others. This classic Alfa comes with a claimed 30 years’ worth of paperwork, revealing the owner’s true Alfisti credentials.

The car is in Burbank, California with the owner asking $23,900 for it over here. Although it sounds like it might need some work to be absolutely perfect, this Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTV looks like a properly-loved example, ready for some new adventures.
