It seems not much has changed since we last saw a Tesla Model S challenge a Lamborghini in a straight line.

Even though both models come with all-wheel drive and are exceptionally quick off the line, there are lots of differences between them, such as weight, power, torque, top speed and so on.

While there are one or two similarities, the one worth noting here is acceleration time. The 610 PS (602 HP) Lamborghini Huracan needs 3.2 seconds in order to get from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), while the Model S P85D (with Ludicrous mode) is 0.2 seconds quicker to that mark.

The Tesla has more power too, rated at 568 kW/772 PS (762 HP) but it can hardly run through its output as well as the petrol-powered Lambo can, with its conventional 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.

Another difference between the two models is the price, as the uploader mentions how the Model S (as tested) cost $132,000, while the Huracan was $278,000 – more than twice.

So then is the Lamborghini twice as fast as the Model S P85D? Let’s just say the footage is very conclusive.

H/T to Brooks!
