Following up on Clarkson, Hammond and May was never going to be easy for anyone and there have been quite some issues, but now it looks as if Top Gear is heading for an iceberg.

Matt Le Blanc, of “Friends” and “Joey” fame, has allegedly issued an ultimatum to BBC that he’ll leave the show unless co-host Chris Evans does.

He might have dismissed any tension between them a couple of months ago, but the Evening Standard reports things are much more serious this time. “Matt has already indicated that he won’t continue on any further series if Chris remains part of it”, a source of the show revealed.

To make things worse, said source commented that “he is far from the only one who isn’t happy. The team does not gel at all and the atmosphere between the presenters is decidedly frosty. It’s very much a picture of him – Chris – and them”.

LeBlanc has signed a contract for two more seasons and getting out of it might not be that easy, but if Evans and the rest are at loggerheads, then something has to be done. As if low ratings, not so favorable reviews and Clarkson and Co getting ready to air The Grand Tour on Amazon weren’t enough already…

Contracts aside, do you think would Evans ‘departure would really hurt TG, or perhaps it’ll be better off with Chris Harris, LeBlanc, Sabine Schmitz and the rest?
