‘Tis the day for the concept announcements. Following Acura’s and Honda’s lead, Lexus also revealed its plans to debut a brand new concept model at next month’s 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

And while Lexus was kind enough to give us a cropped teaser image, the Japanese automaker did not provide a lot of information on the study other than that it has been designed by Calty, the company’s design studio in Newport Beach, California, and that it showcases a “new design direction embraced by Lexus”.
