Here’s one more tuning proposal for the Toyota 86 sports coupe, which is also known as the GT86 in Europe and Australia, and as the Scion FR-S in North America, that comes to us from the Land of the Rising Sun and Abflug.

The Japanese tuner’s Spiral 86 performance and styling package will be formally introduced to the public at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon in mid-January, with sales to follow shortly thereafter.

At the heart of the package is the engine tune developed in cooperation with PentRoof that includes an HKS GT Supercharger, a water bypass kit and a sports exhaust system, which all do their part to boost output from 200PS (197hp) to 258PS (255hp) and peak torque from 151 lb·ft (205Nm) to 218 lb-ft (296Nm).

Under the skin you will also find an assortment of HKS goods such as the HIPERMAX IV GT suspension bits and the DIXCEL braking system.

Abflug has made sure that the Spiral 86 stands out from its lesser stock siblings with extensive aero modifications comprising a new and more angular front bumper, beefier side skirts, a new rear bumper with air outlets on the corners and a diffuser, plus a boot lid spoiler.

The car rides on Abflug’s 19-inch Prism III wheels wrapped around Yokohama Advan Sports tires size 235/35/ZR19 and 255/30ZR19 on the front and rear axle respectively.
