Last time saw the Hyundai ix25, we only had pictures of the camouflaged exterior, but now, our spies caught a clear shot of the small crossover’s interior showing details of the dashboard like the digital climate controls and center stack.

A close up on the prototype’s window sticker also reveals that this particular example was powered by a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine hooked up to an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The production cars should get a smaller displacement unit as well.

It’s still not clear whether the ix25 will be aimed at China and possibly, other markets of similar dynamics like Brazil and India, or if Hyundai will opt to offer the small crossover in Western markets too.

What we hear is that it will be built in China as a part of a joint venture between local manufacturer BAIC and Hyundai, with a production or a thinly disguised concept to debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April.
