The Aston Martin V12 Vantage has been around for a while, but time hasn’t diminished its looks or speed.

Now, the V12 Vantage S Roadster is out and ready for its global debut next week at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, what Aston Martin says is its fastest open-topped car ever.

Unveiled earlier this summer, the roadster version of the V12 Vantage S will be shown for the first time August 14 in California. With 565 horsepower from the V12, Aston Martin says the roadster gets up to 60 in 3.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 201 mph. Which sounds really useful in a soft-top vehicle…

Also at the Aston Martin Estate in Pebble Beach will be the DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo design study shown at Goodwood this year. That’s a member of the Vision Gran Turismo series of cars, dreamed up here as an 800-horsepower twin-turbo V12 machine with stunning lines.
