The story here is simple; if you like what the new S-Class-inspired Mercedes C-Class saloonc has to offer, but you need extra space and practicality, then you will want to have a look at the Estate.
It’s recently been tested by CarBuyer and, well, the review’s verdict is really rather predictable. There’s little to differentiate it from the sedan in terms of the way it drives and feels, so it’s all about the bigger boot and more rear leg and head room.
The question of whether or not to buy it probably has to do with liking the wagon styling and really needing the extra space in the back. What’s cool is that the parcel shelf can be relocated behind the front seats, then extended in order to separate the rear volume from where the two places up front – could be good for carrying sheep…
