Sometimes VW’s special edition Up models get funny names, such as this latest Jeans Up version – especially if the exclamation mark is added.

Based on the five-door version of the Up, the VW Jeans Up brings a series of exterior and interior upgrades, offering a cost saving of €792 than if the respective options were specified individually.

On the outside, the Jeans Up gets “Black Triangle” 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome mirror caps, a sticker on the lower part of the doors, “Jeans” lettering on the front doors and fog lights with chrome surround. Tinted rear and side windows contribute to the Jeans Up’s distinctive look.

The cabin features seats in jeans look with accented collars in “Sioux” leather. “Up!” lettering can be found on the door sill trims, while the carpet floor mats feature colored stitching and the air vents, radio panel and instrument panel all sport a chrome trim.

The steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever are covered with dark split leather with contrasting “Sioux” stitching. Standard equipment also includes a multi-function display and cruise control.

The VW Jeans Up is available with the entire engine lineup of the Up family: a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol with 60PS or 75PS, or a 68PS natural gas version. Prices for the special edition model start from €12,375 in Germany.
