All 500 McLaren 675LTs Have Reportedly Been Sold Out

McLaren’s limited-edition 675LT has reportedly been sold out only two months after its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show and two months away from its market launch.

Scheduled to be built in a limited run of 500 units, the flagship of McLaren’s Super Series range is no longer available, despite its starting price of £259,500 in the UK.

Actually, the 675LT has sold out faster than the McLaren P1 – the fact that it is much cheaper and has a slightly larger production run certainly helped.

According to a report from GT Spirit, most of the McLaren 675LT units have been bought by people who already own McLaren vehicles. The car sources its name from the output (675PS or 666hp) and the acronym for “Long Tail.”

Based on the McLaren 650S, the 675LT weighs 100 kg (220 lbs) less and is more track focused. The significantly updated 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine produces 675PS (666hp) and 515lb-ft (700Nm) of torque, allowing the 675LT to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, the same time as the 650S.

However, the 0-200 km/h (124mph) time is an impressive 7.9 seconds, making it 0.4 seconds faster than a Ferrari 488 GTB. Top speed is 330km/h (205mph).

The McLaren 675LT can also be had with the optional Club Sport package, which turns it into a proper track day car thanks to a titanium roll hoop with four-point harnesses and a fire extinguisher.
