Audi revealed a limited edition of the A5 Coupe dubbed the DTM Selection, featuring a motorsport-themed specification inspired by the popular German touring car racing series.

The new Audi A5 DTM Selection will be available only with the 3.0TDI engine mated to a double-clutch seven-speed S-Tronic gearbox, producing 245hp and 580Nm (427.8 lb ft) of torque which allows for a 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 5.9 seconds and a limited 155mph (250km/h) top speed.

The exterior hosts several DTM, Quattro and Audi Sport badges, high-gloss black grilles, mirrors and rear diffuser, as well as a set of 20-inch alloy wheels finished in matt titanium wrapped in 265/30 tires. You can have any colour you want as long as it’s Misano Red.

Inside there is a pair bucket seats straight from the RS5 model with their backrest covers painted in the same shade of red with the exterior, a door lighting which projects the DTM logo on the ground, Audi Sport badges everywhere and dark-tinted rear windows. The door inlays, side trims and center console are also finished in Misano Red with the flat bottom wheel partly dressed in Alcantara and (surprise) red stitching which is also featured on the bucket seats.

Other than that, the A5 DTM Selection carries no changes from the normal 3.0TDI version. Audi will produce just 50 of these ‘special edition’ A5s at the price of €74,450 for the German market.
