Certain examples of the Ferrari California T are subjected to a recall due to a potential fire hazard.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the affected vehicles have a low pressure fuel line that may not connect properly to the fuel pump feed pipe, resulting in a potential leak, which may increase the risk of a fire.

Ferrari North America has already notified owners and dealers of the issue and the low pressure fuel line assembly will be replaced in the affected models, free of charge. The Ferrari California Ts that will have to be taken back to the dealers are from the 2016 model year and were built between September 8, 2015, and November 11, 2015.

NHTSA said that 185 Ferrari California T models are affected by the recall. Owners can find out more about the action by contacting Ferrari Customer Service at 1-201-816-2600, or the NTHSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
