Mercedes-Benz has just announced its sales results in the United States for November 2015.

While many manufacturers like Subaru, are experiencing increased sales, Mercedes-Benz USA’s figures actually dropped this November compared to November 2014, by 11.7 per cent. In total, 33,475 models from the marque were sold in the U.S. last month, compared to the 37,925 vehicles sold in the same month last year.

Unsurprisingly, the automaker’s most popular model for November 2015 was the C-Class with a total of 7239 units sold. Meanwhile, a total of 4883 units of the brand new Mercedes-Benz GLE were sold last month, resulting in a total of 14,353 sold since it was introduced into the market four months ago.

Interestingly, Mercedes-Benz Vans posted a 9.4 per cent jump in sales over November 2014 with 2770 cars sold.

For the year, Mercedes-Benz USA has sold 308,885 cars, a 4.2 per cent increase over the first 11 months of 2014 meaning that despite a slow November, it is still on track for an annual sales record. Mercedes-Benz blames the drop in November sales on the limited availability of SUV models, including the GLC, as well as the runout of a number of other popular models.

Mercedes-Benz USA president and chief executive Stephen Cannon said “November brought us enough volume to assure an all-time record year for MBUSA.”
