Nissan set out to make sure that their newly-crowned International Pick-up of the Year is now available with 125 dealer-fit accessories.

Some of these accessories are the first of their kind in this sector, such as the sliding load tray that makes loading and unloading much easier, or the foldaway rear step that improves access to the truck bed.

The tailgate assist that lowers the vehicle’s tailgate smoothly at the touch of a button is yet another novelty, as is the load carrier which allows NP300 Navara owners to make good use of the space on top of the load space cover.

Furthermore, there’s a high quality hardtop available in two distinct grades – one of which comes with opening windows, interior trims, interior lighting, a stop lamp and central locking. Those looking for an alternative choice of bedliner can now get either a plastic or aluminum one, as well as either an aluminum, soft tonneau cover or a roll cover.

As for other exterior options, customers can opt for chrome bars at the front, side and bed of the vehicle, plus high impact lamps that can be fitted onto the bars. Also available are decal stickers, exhaust finishers, a shark antenna and alloy wheels.

“In the past it’s often been the case that new pick-ups have come to market and customers have then had to wait for third-party, aftermarket accessories to personalise and adapt their vehicles,” explained Mike Thompson, after sales director at Nissan. “In developing the new NP300 Navara, Nissan had accessories in mind from the very outset and so we have been able to ensure that even those customers taking delivery of the first vehicles this month have the full range of options and accessories available to them.”
