McLaren Bringing MSO P1 & 675LT Spider, “Mystery” Model To Geneva

At this year’s Geneva Auto Show, McLaren will have its largest ever stand – and for a very good reason.

The three-tier line-up, consisting of the Sports, Super and Ultimate Series, that’s grown considerably would be enough to justify it.

However, it will also display MSO’s (McLaren Special Operation) “carbon fiber tribute” to the P1, that has reached the end of production. This will be the first time a full visual carbon fiber body conversion will be displayed publicly after being made available to McLaren P1 customers earlier this year. Other upgrades include the gloss black wheels, the carbon black Alcantara interior with blue stitching and a 24-carat gold exhaust heat shield, an homage to the iconic McLaren F1.

Furthermore, MSO has built a bespoke version of the 675LT Spider, making its first public appearance after selling out its entire stock in a matter of weeks. the team at MSO went for a Ceramic Grey finish and added even more carbon than you get in the standard model. The “Longtail” Airbrake is body-colored, while the front bumper end plates, side skirts, side intakes and rear bumper have a visual carbon finish. Inside, you’ll find a pair of black Alcantara-trimmed racing seats with Xenon Yellow contrast stitching. This car also gets a 24-carat gold heat shield around its titanium exhaust system, which compliments the Active Dynamics Panel which is finished in Solis – a unique color to the 675LT Spider.

McLaren will also showcase the recently confirmed 650S GT3 race car and a new addition to the Sports Series family, which could be the “more practical” variant of the 570S.
