By all accounts, including ours, the McLaren 570GT is an amazing sports car, potent enough to rival the most iconic Porsche 911 models and Italy’s very finest two doors. However, how does it perform on dirt?

To find out, a couple of YouTubers took two 570GTs to the desert in order to find out and without any kind of modifications to the British coupe, drove and drifted them along dirt roads for miles and miles.

It obviously goes without saying that the 570GT was never designed for such driving but considering it has impeccable ride quality like all modern McLarens, it actually appears to handle the conditions quite well.

As if things couldn’t get crazier, the duo then fit massive LED light bars on the windscreens of the 570GTs and take them onto the dirt long after the sun is set for some epic night-time rally driving.

While it looks fun, we can’t even begin to imagine the damage done to the paint.
