If your idea of enjoying a “Danish” was eating one of those laminated sweet pastries, it’s quite possible you’ve never been exposed to the Zenvo TS-1 GT.

Built in Denmark, the Zenvo TS-1 GT costs a whooping £1.1 million ($1.45m), and the reason for that is quite simple. Its twin-supercharged 5.8-liter V8 engine puts down 1,180 PS (1,163 HP) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque.

It also features a 7-speed Sports transmission with helical-cut gears in a ‘Dog Box’ configuration, that can shift in as little as 40 milliseconds. The end result is a zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 2.8 seconds.

However, not everything is great about the TS-1 GT, according to YouTuber Shmee150, who has driven his fair share of hypercars in the past couple of years. He says that the shifts are clunky at low speed and that you won’t have an easy time driving the car smoothly around town.

Of course, once you get it up to speed, you’ll get a sense of old-school raw driving dynamics that explode after 5,000 rpm, which is when the car really takes off in a straight line.

Other positives include the interior built quality, the aggressive-looking exterior and the engine note.
