With the vast majority of Rolls-Royce customers opting for some level of Bespoke customization – and relatively so few made – there’s no reason why any two should ever leave the factory looking exactly the same.

Still, there are some that go over and above to emerge as truly one-of-a-kind. And judging from this Phantom Coupe, that can be a good thing.

What we have here is the Tiger edition, a custom Roller done up in orange and gold with a tiger-themed double coachline and a beige interior with white accents and tiger-head embroidery. The sum total is a very… shall we say, “unique” ride that likely would have stood out even at the first Players Ball back in 1974.

The Tiger debuted late in 2015 – it should come as little surprise – at the Dubai Motor Show, and we had hoped at the time we’d seen the last of it. But now it’s popped up for sale on James Edition, having been driven only 322 miles in the past two-plus years since it was built.

It’s still residing in the gulf state, where Deals on Wheels is asking 1,999,000 Emirati dollars (about $550k) for it, down from the UAD 2.5 million paid for it when new. It still has another nine months on the warranty and service contract, but we doubt that includes a new paintjob.

For our part, we’d sooner order a new Wraith, exactly the way we want it, at ~$320k, spend the other $230k on something fun for the track, and leave a tarp over this one.
