Until the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador SVJ arrives, the pre-facelift SV remains the most hardcore Aventador available for road use. However, ‘regular’ Aventador owners don’t need to sell up in order to get an SV, if they can find one that is, as the aftermarket world is full of tuning kits that mimic the SV’s looks.

This Aventador, recently modified by the crew at ADV.1 Wheels, is the one that, from what we’ve seen so far, comes closest to looking like an SV. In fact, you couldn’t blame someone for mistaking it for the real thing from a distance.

At the rear, the car combines the looks of the SV and the LP720-4 50th Anniversario with an aggressive bumper, revised air vents and a massive rear wing. The front bumper and splitter also share an uncanny resemblance to the SV and top off the bodywork changes. Completing the modifications are a set of twin five-spoke black wheels and bright red brake calipers.

Of course, the SV is much more than just a dressed-up Aventador, but since it was made in just 600 examples and you’ll have to pay dearly to get one in the used car market, perhaps a stock Aventador that kinda looks the part will do – and it will save you a small fortune, too.
