Aston Martin and James Bond are an iconic movie duo and Bonhams has announced plans to auction off one of 007’s DB5s.

Before you get too excited, this particular Aston Martin DB5 isn’t the one driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger. Instead, it’s the DB5 that Pierce Brosnan used during the early parts of GoldenEye.

Following its use in the movie, the car was used to promote the film as well as the Aston Martin DB7. It was eventually auctioned off in 2001 and bought by entrepreneur Max Reid for £149,828 ($200,000). While that doesn’t sound like much for an Aston Martin DB5, Bonhams notes it “became the most valuable piece of Bond memorabilia ever sold.”

The car’s value has only increased over the years and the auction house now estimates the car will sell for £1.2 – £1.6 ($1.6 -$2.1) million. If the car does indeed sell for that price, the Bond pedigree could double the value of the car as a similar 1964 Aston Martin DB5 is only expected to fetch £600,000 – £700,000 ($800,700 – $934,460).

The car will be sold at the Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale on July 13th and the company’s director of motor cars said “Every fan remembers Pierce Brosnan tearing through the hills in this car, and it must be up there as one of the most thrilling Bond car chases in history. This Aston Martin is something very special indeed.”

Besides the 1965 Aston Martin DB5, the Goodwood auction will feature a 1961 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato and a 1957 BMW 507 Roadster which is expected to bring in £2 – £2.2 ($2.6 – $2.9) million. Another highlight is a 1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B Monoposto race car which is estimated to be worth £4.5 – £5 ($6 – $6.6) million.
