It’s not the best-looking, fastest nor cheapest supercar out there, yet the Mazzanti Evantra wants to compete against the big boys such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren.

And it’s planning to do so with the Evantra, which is powered by GM’s LS naturally aspirated V8. Re-engineered in Italy, it has 7.0 liters in displacement and works together with a six-speed semi-automatic transmission.

In the Evantra, it pushes out 751 PS (740 hp / 552 kW) and 860 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque, and the company claims that 0-100 km/h (62 mph) can be done in less than 3 seconds, while top speed stands at over 360 km/h (224 mph). Stopping power is provided by Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston ones at the rear.

Mazzanti describes the 1,300 kg (2,866 lbs) Evantra using words such as “lightness, power and balance hard to combine, yet brought together naturally”. The company will only manufacture 5 examples annually, each tailored to each individual’s taste.

But we can get a clearer picture of what it’s all about in the following POV video, which shows the Mazzanti Evantra being driven on public roads. For this adventure, the uploader got to travel to their factory and described that day as “amazing”. So, how does one of the least known Italian supercars looks like from the driver’s seat?
