Lordstown Motors has released new pictures that give us a better look inside their upcoming electric work truck.

The Endurance’s most interesting feature is its tri-screen display which consists of a digital instrument cluster, an overview of the truck’s status, and an infotainment system that appears to have Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Lordstown didn’t provide details, but the screens have a wide aspect ratio and are housed in a freestanding metallic frame. Below, we can see what appears to be a cloth-wrapped dashboard and rectangular air vents that reside above black trim.

We can also see cloth seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with gloss black buttons. Elsewhere, there are minimalist climate controls and a center console with what appears to be a rotary shifter. Rounding out the highlights are metallic accents, two cup holders and grab handles on the A-pillars.

Besides releasing interior pictures, Lordstown revealed they have received 40,000 pre-orders for the Endurance. That means pre-orders have doubled since the truck was unveiled in June. More importantly, the pre-orders represent approximately $2 (£1.6 / €1.7) billion in potential revenue if they all translate into sales.

As we have previously reported, the Endurance is slated to go into production next year and feature four in-wheel motors that produce a combined output of 600 hp (447 kW / 608 PS). They should enable the truck to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 5.5 seconds and travel more than 250 miles (402 km) on a single charge.

The model has a base price of $52,500 – before incentives – and aims to become the world’s first all electric commercial pickup.
