The Police Pursuit Driving Experience seeks to give you the full movie experience by allowing customers to take on the role of the fugitive as the police chase you in a Dodge Charger V8 Police Interceptor. The chase takes place within the safe confines of the Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire, U.K.
“Our Police Pursuit Driving Experience is the ultimate fantasy roleplay for adults,” said Dan Jones, operating manager at Trackdays. “Participants take on the role of a fugitive wanted for multiple felonies. Their mission is to try to escape from the long arm of the law behind the wheel of either a Porsche Boxster or a Mazda MX-5.”

The package includes a brief lesson covering racing lines, throttle and braking technique (as well as track day safety and etiquette), 10 minutes of sighting laps where you follow an instructor, and 15 minutes of police pursuit action, in which you try to evade and escape the Charger.
“My advice is to remember that it’s not all about speed,” said Jones. “To stand any chance of outrunning the police car in hot pursuit you’ll also need clever decision making, first-class driving skills and lightning-fast reactions.”
